Hurricane Gonzalo was located at 29.3 North, 66.8 West or approximately 207 nautical miles south-southwest of Bermuda at 6am, Friday, October 17th.

The system is moving north-northeast at 13 knots, with maximum sustained winds at 115 knots and gusts to 140 knots.  Central pressure is 946mb, or 27.93 inches.

The closest point of approach to Bermuda, within 72 hours, is forecast to be 25 nautical miles to the west-northwest (or directly over the island) by 7pm Friday, October 17th.

Hurricane Gonzalo is a threat to Bermuda at this time.
